Pryor Junior High (PJH) provides a strong and stringent program taught by a caring and dedicated staff. As a Leader in Me school, we are committed to the development of the skills necessary for self-direction in setting both short-term and long-term goals and for life-long learning.
In addition to our outstanding academic program, our extra-curricular activities are exceptional. Our band and choir programs are top- rated and award-winning.
The Pryor Junior High Leadership Class was recognized by the Pryor City Council for their outstanding community support. The PJH Art Club, spirit and athletic teams, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, vocational agriculture, outdoor education, GTT robotics, FCCLA, and PJH Academic Team offer students a variety of options to obtain a well-balanced curriculum.
Pryor Junior High Mission Statement
As students, teachers, and staff of the Pryor Junior High, we are part of a unified team that will stand together respecting the value of each individual's potential. We will enhance our working environment with positive attitudes while keeping the end to mind and putting first things first. As Pryor Junior High's students, teachers, and staff, we will help each other achieve their goals by synergizing and promoting the seven habits within the Leader in Me program.
